1. Beta software and no accuracy guarantee

Power Flow Studio is beta software under active development. Models, calculations, study results, diagrams, exports, warnings, and other outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, incompatible, non-convergent, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The application does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness of any input or output.

2. Engineering responsibility

The application is a modelling aid and does not provide professional engineering services or replace professional judgement. The user and the qualified, licensed Professional of Record are solely responsible for:

Application output must not be relied upon as the sole basis for construction, procurement, equipment ratings, protection settings, energization, operational or safety-critical decisions, or an interconnection submission.

3. Utility and third-party software acceptance

Exporting a file does not guarantee that PSS/E, a utility, a regulator, or another third party will accept it or reproduce the same result. Users must validate exported files in the required target software and resolve all warnings, errors, model-library requirements, version differences, and utility-specific data requirements before submission.

4. User data and inputs

The user is responsible for having the right to upload and use all project, manufacturer, utility, controller, and model data. The user must review saved cases and exported files for confidential, personal, export-controlled, licensed, or proprietary information before sharing them.

5. Recurring subscription and payment authorization

Creating an account does not by itself create a charge. If the user purchases a paid plan, the final price, currency, taxes, and billing frequency are shown in Stripe Checkout before payment.

By completing Checkout, the user authorizes Power Flow Studio and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method on a recurring basis at the price and frequency shown, including applicable taxes, until the subscription is cancelled. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled. The user may manage or cancel the subscription through the billing portal. Unless a different rule is displayed at purchase or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

6. Appropriate use

Users must not use the application unlawfully, attempt to bypass access or subscription controls, interfere with the service, or represent unverified output as approved professional work. Access may be limited or suspended to protect the service, other users, or data.

7. Acceptance and changes

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, the user confirms that they have authority to accept these terms and agrees to the current version presented during signup and Checkout. If material terms change, renewed acceptance may be required.
